- Everyday items: clothes, books, toys (no strong magnets).
- Non-flammable cosmetics (no aerosols/perfumes).
- Dry, sealed pantry items (no meat, no fresh/perishable).
- Electronics with installed lithium batteries (phones, laptops, watches, etc.) within airline limits — see our Gadgets & Batteries Guide.
Always follow quantity/value limits and pack well to avoid damage.
What you can’t send (or needs special approval)
- Aerosols, perfumes, flammable liquids/solids, fuels.
- Explosives/ammunition; compressed or pressurised gases.
- Corrosives (strong acids/alkalis), toxic/biological, radioactive.
- Loose/spare batteries & power banks (not allowed in parcels).

Some items may move under Dangerous Goods rules; contact support first.
IMPORTANT: Honest Declaration & Dangerous Goods
Aviation safety rules are strict. You must declare your items truthfully and answer all safety questions honestly when you book with ShipLite. Misdeclaring or hiding flammable or dangerous goods is not just a small mistake — it can lead to serious safety and legal issues.
- Security X-ray can stop your shipment and remove items without notice.
- Your box may be delayed, returned, or destroyed depending on airline and airport rules.
- You will be charged for all extra costs, penalties, and handling fees caused by misdeclaration.
- ShipLite may block or ban repeat offenders from using the service.
When you complete a booking, you must agree to our Dangerous Goods & Contents Declaration and ShipLite Terms & Conditions. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, please contact us before sending.
Lithium battery quick rule
- Allowed: consumer devices with the battery installed and within airline watt-hour limits.
- Not allowed: loose batteries, power banks, e-bike battery packs in the parcel.
- Unsure? Check the Gadgets & Batteries Guide.
Alcoholic Beverages — Air Cargo & PH Customs
Standard acceptance: Beer, cider, and wine at ≤ 24% ABV in unopened retail bottles. Spirits/liqueurs at ≥ 24% ABV are treated as Dangerous Goods (DG) and are not accepted on our standard service.
Flammable threshold (ABV)
- ≤ 24% ABV: Not regulated as flammable DG → accepted (subject to customs & quantity limits).
- > 24% to ≤ 70% ABV: Class 3 flammable liquid → DG handling required (not available on standard service).
- > 70% ABV: Typically prohibited by air.
Philippine Customs personal-use guide (wine/liquor)
- Up to 2 bottles total with combined volume ≤ 1.5 L per consignee per shipment may clear as personal use without FDA-DOH clearance.
- Exceeding this requires FDA-DOH permit; without it, goods may be seized/forfeited.
- De minimis (₱10,000): Alcohol is excisable — duties/taxes (and VAT) can still apply even when under ₱10,000.
Examples (wine)
- 2 × 750 mL wine @ 12.5% ABV (total 1.5 L): acceptable on standard air; may clear as personal use.
- 3 × 750 mL wine (2.25 L): exceeds personal-use guide → FDA clearance required; risk of seizure without permits.
- 1 × 700 mL whisky @ 40% ABV: DG → not accepted on standard service.
- 1 × 1 L spirit @ 75% ABV: generally prohibited by air.
Packing & declaration
- Use sealed retail bottles, inner padding and leak-proofing; place inside a sturdy outer carton.
- Declare brand, ABV (%), bottle size (mL/L), and quantity on the invoice/packing list.
- One consignee per shipment; we may split consignments to meet limits.
Final acceptance is by airline security screening and Philippine customs. Declared-wrong items may be removed, delayed, or incur fees.

Inuming Alak — Air Cargo & PH Customs
