1. Overview

These terms govern your use of ShipLite's website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

ShipLite provides air cargo shipping services from Australia to the Philippines. These terms apply to all users of our services, including visitors, customers, and merchants.

2. Use of Service

By using ShipLite's services, you agree to the following conditions:

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete shipping information for all packages
  • Prohibited Items: You agree not to send prohibited, illegal, or dangerous goods as defined by Australian and Philippine customs regulations
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
  • Lawful Use: You will use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms

Important: Sending prohibited items may result in confiscation by customs, legal penalties, and termination of your ShipLite account.

3. Shipping & Liability

Please understand the following limitations and responsibilities:

  • Customs Delays: ShipLite is not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, clearance procedures, or regulatory requirements
  • Third-Party Handling: We are not responsible for damage or loss that occurs during handling by third-party carriers, customs officials, or delivery partners
  • Weight Verification: Actual weight and dimensions will be confirmed by our warehouse before final billing. This may differ from your initial estimate
  • Insurance: We recommend purchasing insurance for valuable items. Standard liability is limited to $100 per package unless additional coverage is purchased
  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to factors beyond our control

By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations on liability.

4. Pricing & Payment

Our pricing and payment terms are as follows:

  • Price Changes: Prices may change without notice. The price applicable to your shipment is the price in effect at the time of booking
  • Final Billing: Payment is due upon final weight and dimension confirmation by our warehouse
  • Additional Charges: You may incur additional charges for oversized items, special handling, or customs duties
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed on our website
  • Currency: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified

Note: If the actual weight exceeds your estimate, you will be charged the difference. If it's less, you'll receive a refund for the overpayment.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy:

  • Cancellation Window: Cancellations must be made before your parcel is received by our depot
  • How to Cancel: Contact our support team immediately via WhatsApp, email, or phone
  • Refund Processing: Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis through our support team
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account
  • Non-Refundable: Services already rendered (such as pickup or partial transit) are non-refundable

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for shipments that have already been processed or are in transit.

6. User Accounts

Account creation and management terms:

  • Account Creation: An account is automatically created upon your first booking with ShipLite
  • Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and secure
  • Account Activity: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Unauthorized Use: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

You may not use another person's account without permission or create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.

ShipLite operates under Australian consumer law. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.

  • Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts
  • We comply with Australian Consumer Law and provide all statutory guarantees
  • Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under Australian law

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
